Bio-inspired Textiles is a research project exploring how we can be informed by nature to create more sustainable textile designs using eight structures from nature: fibrous, helical, overlap, layer, gradient, cellular, suture, and texture.- the three pillars: efficiency, longevity, and recovery.
In this project, Bio-Inspired Textiles and I collaborated to develop icons for communicating the eight textile structures and the three pillars.
